Welcome to my corner of the internet. 🌿
I know why you are here but before that, I need to share something with you. Hitting “publish” for the very first time feels a little bit like standing on a high diving board. It’s exciting, a tiny bit terrifying, but mostly, I’m just ready. I spent a lot of time thinking about what I wanted my first post here to be, and I knew it had to be honest.
So let's get one thing straight from day one: This is not your typical lifestyle blog. I’m not here to sell you a perfect, aesthetic life or give you rigid, robotic advice. I’m here to share what I’m figuring out in real-time at the intersection of our goals, our mental health, and how we actually spend our days.
Since we are officially stepping into a brand new financial year today, there felt like no better topic to kick things off. While the rest of the world is buzzing with talk about taxes, budgets, and bottom lines, we are going to do things differently here. We are going to talk about auditing our life, not just our receipts.
Let's dive in.
The air in late March always feels a bit heavy, doesn't it?
It’s that strange limbo between the excitement of a new calendar year and the looming paperwork of a new financial one.
I used to treat April 1st as just a day of dreaded spreadsheets and tax forms. But this year, I’m doing things differently. I realized that if I’m auditing my bank account, I should probably be auditing my brain, too.

Here is how I’m approaching the FY26 Financial Year "Soul" Reset.
New Taxes, New Brain
We talk a lot about "financial literacy," but we rarely talk about financial peace. Every time you open your banking app and feel a pang of guilt, or every time a subscription renewal catches you off guard, that is a withdrawal from your mental energy.
This year, I’m not just looking at the numbers; I’m looking at the noise.
The "Lurking" Expenses:Â Those $10 subscriptions for apps you haven't opened since 2024? They aren't just costing you money; they are tiny, unfinished tasks cluttering your psyche.
The Comparison Debt: Are you spending to keep up with a lifestyle you don't even enjoy? It’s time to stop paying interest on other people’s expectations.
Audit Your Mental Load
Before you crunch the numbers for FY26, ask yourself these three questions:
1.     What purchase actually bought me time or joy last year?
2.     Which financial habit makes me feel the most anxious?
3.     What is my "enough" number for this year?
When you define
"enough," the hustle stops feeling like a marathon with no finish line. You start working for your life, rather than living for your work.
I spent the last few days building a tool that doesn't feel like a chore. I wanted something that balanced the cold, hard math with the "soul" side of spending.
I’ve designed this FY26 Budget Tracker to be your digital sanctuary. It’s clean, it’s intuitive, and it’s meant to help you see where your money and your energy is actually going.
Let’s Walk Into This Year Lighter
Financial health isn't about having the most; it's about feeling the most secure. I’m sharing this because I’m on this journey with you. I’m tired of the "hustle until you break" narrative. Let’s choose "plan so you can breathe" instead.
If this resonated with you, stick around. We’re going to be talking a lot more about intentional living, smart wealth, and keeping our souls intact while we build our futures.
